I am learning my water chemistry. I bought a test kit that "does it all". I see here Dh and I dont have that in by kit. I have Gh and Kh, what is Dh?? Also, My Kh and Gh are below any measurement on the kit. From what I have read, I need to add calcium and magnesim, correct?? Can you tell me how to do that? I want angels and live plants, will they be ok without adding cal & mag or not? Very confusing ..this water chemistry...but I am enjoying learning! Thanks alot-

dH is degrees hardness... it applies to both GH and KH. For example: my GH is at 9dH (9 degrees).

In short: it's a measurement unit rather than a water parameter.
