Amquel+

Hi all,

Amquel+ states that it detoxifies chlorine, chloramines, nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia. If I use it in my aquarium to detoxify chloramines in my tap water, will my plants still be able to use the nitrates even though they have been detoxified as well?

Thanks,
Josh

long explanation short, different form of nitrate. same situation as purigen. absorbs nitrates, but not the same nitrates as the plants uptake.

It binds it to make it less lethal but it's still there....something like that.

I use it in all of my tanks with no problems.....love the stuff for over 14yrs now.

I wouldn't mind hearing the long story I'm interested to know how these things work.
