Osmocote Plus ?

First, is there a benefit to using it/w stemmed plants ? I have some Rotala which had a rough start.
I also use a reduced version of EI/weekly ferts but no CO2. Do use Excel but plan on stopping after
some growth has made the plants more healthy.
The first one I'm not sure about but this list is what I have in there which count in this case.
Ludwigia peruensis
Native hair grass and two other types(including one "bog" plant) of plant which look like
hair grass
Dwarf Pennywort
I also have two kinds of Java ferns and regular baby tears but the baby tears are being used
as surface type plants and are not rooted in the sub and neither are the J ferns which is why I
said their not important to this.
Please include any info like "does raise Ph/Gh" or maybe "not good in a shrimp tank" type of
issues that you have experience/w.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...
