High gh any issues with my water?

I am injecting pressurized co2 so ph swings from 6.7-6.8 to 6.2-6.0 area.

Ammonia .50ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 20ppm
Phosphate 1.0
KH 8
GH 22

I am unsure of why I have ammonia present due to filter being up and running for a year undisturbed. Tap water shows gh of 10-12ish(started to turn color at ten got darker at 11 and 12) an a kh of 7.

I am trying to does KNO3, KH2PO4, and csm+b which test targets what and what are target values for the tank? Anything I need to fix right away?

The ammonia level is a problem.

You mentioned that you have had your filter up and running for a year, but have you cleaned it in between? There could be a large amount of detritus that is decomposing in your filter, causing the ammonia.

Alternatively, it could be because of a dead fish, decomposing fish food from overfeeding, or even excess decomposing plant material.

Overall plants are doing good not a lot of dying material. Fish started dying last night. Head count before the deaths was all there. I did clean the filter last night. I washed the 2 course sponges, 2 finer sponges, and filter floss in tank water and hot water rinsed the baskets the motor and canister. It was super dirty. I have no bio filter material in there. What is the recommended material for Rena xp3?

I have 2 un accounted for rasboras. But my ammonia was .25 today. Nitrite is still 0. So ammonia is on its way down. Hopefully the filter being dirty(was filthy) it was an ammonia factory and I took care of it with cleaning. Hopefully bodies of the 2 missing rasboras show up so I can avoid those ammonia spikes.
