Root tabs other then O+

I've been using oscomote plus with great results for awhile. But I hate the little balls that make there way to the surface. So I'm looking for an alternative as I'm using a sand substrTe and it will be mostly crypt only tank

I've never tried them but what about the clay tabs? I think H4n sells them here but you'll have to check.

I've seen those gro soil tabs I think they are called. But they clay ones are a good idea. I'd assume they just disintegrate and nothing would make it to the surface

Jobes fert sticks work for some people. Just break them into smaller pieces and stick them into the substrate. You can also make your own from clay (which I did) as posted above me.

Someone post what the consensus is after you guys hash it out. I know I keep picking the little osmicotes off the surface whenever I see them, which could be whenenver I go digging, or I think just the air in the capsule pops them up.
