help with water parameters and what to do

I am starting my first serious endeavor with a planted tank. I've had swords and anubias that I've grown with no problem. But I am trying to get all of the parameters to a point that will be good for my fish(discus) and the new plants(hc & alternanthera reinickii)I'll be receiving in a few days. My pH is less than 6, gh/kh both have the lowest reading possible in my api test kit. I use ro water cause I have well water and my nitrates are >160 and ammonia is 1.0 before it goes through the ro unit. My nitrates stay around 10ppm, ammonia/nitrite 0. should i use something to stabilize my pH since I'll be using co2. I just want to make sure I do this right.
