When do I add fertilizer?

Merry Christmas all,
I started cycling my 44 gallon tank a week ago or so. Today I added some plants. Amazon sword, windelov java fern, narrow leaf java fern, dwarf hair grass, and a small bit of java moss. All low light stuff, I think. I picked up some Flourish today with the plants. I also added my drift wood that I found, cleaned and hopefully poured enough boiling water on to kill any bad stuff. My questions are, should I add the Flourish now? And, is there anything to do differently when fertilizing once fish are added? Should I get the tablets for the sword and grass? I'm using pool filter sand as a substrate. No Co2 and very low light. I'm thinking about possibly adding more lighting. Thanks for any input and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

My first attempt at a planted tank. I plan on adding more swords and maybe adding then switching to my old Fluval 403. I will do away with the air stone once it's cycled. I know it still needs work. Sorry, I don't know how the picture came out sideways.

You will want to start fertilizing right away and I would definitely add root tabs. I would also look into Excel if you are not planning on using CO2.

I will never in my life ever do a planted tank without dirt Looks good! Best of luck! I really like the upright wood on the left.

Only bad things happen quickly.
A little allot is better than allot a little.
