I am using Leaf Zone for Iron and Potassium, should I follow the label instructions or I should add more?

here is what I have:
30 Gal medium-heavily planted
80 Watts
CO2 injection 2 2L DIY Mix into a Hagen ladder (around 15ppm CO2)

I am adding Nitrates to get my level up. phosphates is low (around .2ppm). I will add more phosphates when I get my Nitrates to around 10ppm

Now I was reading on here and most of you guys agree that Fe kits are worthless. So how do I know when I should add Iron and Potassium and how much? Is it safe to overdose Iron and Potassium?

It is not safe to overdose Fe and K. An Fe overdose will cause hair algae and a K overdose will show stunted plant growth and Ca/Mg deficiency. As long as you do weekly water changes, you shouldn't have to worry about an overdose. Watch your plants to see how they grow. If they are growing fine, keep doing what you're doing. I doubt they're growing very much right now with low NO3 and PO4 levels, huh?

I haven't done any water changes in a long time. I guess I should make one as soon as possible huh?

How much of a weekly change do you recommend?

As for the growth, I guess its ok, I do have some hair algae but not SAEs at the moment... I actually just started dosing neutrients very recently as I was still recovering from an algae bloom..

I do 50% every week, but dose heavily. If you use a lighter supplementation regimen, you could do less than 50%, but that seems to work for most.

Depends on your tap water. Some tap water is very soft and contains very few minerals and traces.
