Dry fert testing

How would I test my water to see what ferts I need to add and how much??

Sorry Im new to dry ferts

Thanks. Just one more question. How many grams are in a tsp. as I do have a pocket scale but not small enough tsp. We seem to have lost everything under 1/2 tsp

You can't go from grams to teaspoons. Grams are a measure of weight and teaspoons are a measure of volume.

In the Fertilization section of my Guide there is a link to Chuck Gadd's calculator. Download it. It shows measurements of most common dry ferts in grams and in teaspoons.
