Quick PH question?

Would a ph that is too low say 6.4 range be low enough to make leaves sort of disintigrate?

it's only one type of plant that is doing it. don't know what it is called but it hase rosetta or something like that if I remember correctly. red stem and "generic looking" leaves. the stem is more or a dark red color too.
