Dose Phosphorous & Potassium right away?

It seems my computer won't let me cut&paste an image, so I am forced to send the whole thread. I just wanted to share the Seachem dosing guide (please scroll down to entry #6).

FlourishComprehensize,FlourishIron,orFlourishExcel better? - Aquatic Plant Central- aquascaping...a living art

When I restart my tank I think I shall try the Seachem line of stuff.
I plan to use perhaps half-dosage on the Flourish until plants begin to take off. Yah?

Should I dose phosphorous and potassium right away? Or no?
Or should test phosphorous and then dose if needed, dosing lightly at first?
Also, I keep my nitrates up from the very beginning? Yah?

Thank you and be gentle.

search on PTF for gregwatson as most dose dry ferts here
and only use Flourish Excel as a carbon supplement to Co2.

if you "restart" your tank, keep some dirty gravel and filter media
so you won't need to wait to recycle the tanks biology as well,

there is no need to delay, half, or over dose till "plants take off".
remember, Light and Co2 are far more important than dosing.
