You have to buy a kh test kit. Just like a ph or gh test kit. Like THIS one.

That Aquarium Pharmaceuticals kit is the one I use, and it is nice because the color change is very abrupt, you just count the drops of reagent - degrees of KH equals the number of drops, and you can double the accuracy by using twice the amount of sample and counting each drop as 0.5 degrees of KH.
