Grant' Stump Remover

I am running low on KN03. I have read that green light stump remover is almost pure KNO3. Does anyone use or know if Grant's is the same? It is the only kind Home Depot had.

I Know I can order from GW. But all I need right now is the KNO3 and the shipping will cost three times as much as the product.

(I tried the search function the sever seems to be down)

Grant's will be fine - I used it for a while. I had the most success after grinding it into powder. The only problem I found was it seemed to have left a film on the surface of the water (I believe the stump removers add a small amount of something to reduce clumping).

If you have any DGSS (hydroponics) stores close by they should carry KNO3.

Thanks for the info you two. I did see a hydroponic store in the yellow pages. It is not DGSS though. I will call them in morning and see if they have any.

Some farm supply places work as well. I found KNO3 and KH2PO4 at Western Farm Service. Not great for you, but you may have something similar nearby.

For anyone in most of the western states (No more than 1 state from the Pacific ) this might be an option.
