Noob: 75G EI dosing

Ok, so I read the sticky and a couple of other posts. The regiment copied from the sticky) is as follows:

"Tank's (3)
For a 60~80gal
50%H20 change-weekly
+/-3/4Tsp KN03 3x a week
+/-3/16Tsp KH2P04 3x a week
+/-1/4Tsp K2S04 3x a week
+/-15ml Trace 3x a week
+/-4-8ml Fe/Iron 3x a week"

I have read everywhere that the N:P ratio should (optimally) be 10:1. If I calculate the weekly dosing of N and P using Chucks calculator, they are as follows (assuming 65G of water in the 75G tank):

31.4 of KNO3
7.63 of KH2PO4

which shows that the ratio is not right, phosphate are too high. Should I adjust the dosing of KH2PO4 to get the weekly amount down to 3-4ppm? or does the ratio not matter when using the EI method?

P.S. 3.5WPG Lights, 30ppm CO2, Eco-Complete, Heavily Planted tank

The ratio of phosphates to nitrates isn't important. What is important is having enough of both, without having way too much. But, if you have twice the recommended amount of either one you should still be doing fine. Most of us don't know how much of either is in our tap water, so we don't actually know what is in the tank water with any accuracy. I dose 1/4 tsp of KNO3 and 1/16 tsp of KH2PO4 three times a week, and haven't had any problems. (29 gallon tank).
