What's your CO2 bubble rate?
Just wondering about people's CO2 bubble rate. This assumes you've acheived what you believe to be a good CO2 concentration. If you don't mind you can post your water parameters as well, and your tank size so we can get a better idea about your setup.
I built another 'rex reactor' this time with 2" diameter, about 2' long. My CO2 is running about 3 bubbles per second, and the ph according to an AP test kit is down to 6.8 with water that according to another AP test kit has a KH of 18 ( 85 ppm CO2!! ) but I don't believe it because the fish are just fine. My city water report says Alkalinity is made up entirely of bicarbonate and is 313 ppm, or 17.5 dKH, so the AP KH test seems pretty close to the mark. The AP pH test on the other hand is clearly wacky.
I think I'm going to turn up the CO2 even more but 3 bps seems like quite a bit.
