Whats the best time to add ferts?

I was wondering what is the best time to add ferts?
Is it at night before the lights go out, or is it in the morning when the lights come on?
Or does it matter at all?

ive been wondering this myself

the Hagen Plant Gro says to add daily -- the flourish says to add weekly... so I would assume that the flourish could be added any time, but the Plant Gro, i have not a clue

IMO, consistency is more important than time of day.

It dont matter what time u add it i do mine when the lights come as long as u dont forget to do it that day. And on the the bottle of the flourish it says weekly but alot of poeple are useing it every other day that all depends on how much light u have and if u are adding co2

It just seams to me that plants (at some point in the day) would have a optimal time frame that they would use up the ferts. That and i set up the test tanks and don't know what to do with them.

the best time to add ferts is the time that is better than all the others.

I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Its amazing what a couple of words will do to a search engine.

This is interesting. I dose in the mornings but I wish a more definitive answer was out there. I read somewhere that the only time not to dose (trace elements) is on WC days since some water conditioners may neutralize the metals in those ferts.
