Do test kits expire?

I had recently picked up the aquarium hobby again and was wondering if test kits can go bad. I have a couple of bottles of pretty much all the kits for most water parameters. However they were last used about 4 years ago. Do these chemical expire or lose accuracy after time? If so, how often should you replace them?

Yes. It's time for new test kits. About once a year for new test kits. Some kits last longer but you also have to figure in the "shelf time".

Tossed the old ones out and got the aquarium pharmaceuticals' master test kit at the LPS.

Here's a good link to check the expiration dates on a few test kits. AP is one so double check your kit and return it if anything is expired.
