Co2 diffusing

hey i have pressurized Co2 can i stick the Co2 tubing in the uplift tube to diffuse it or should i build a reactor or should i use a ceramic diffuser

The risk in doing this is damage to the impeller especially if you stick the tube directly into the intake rather than using airstone or disc diffuser and place it under the intake, the bubbles are very small and not too harsh for the impeller, reactor is the safest method and efficient as well.

wait, Uplift tube is used to describe undergravel filters. do you mean uplift tube from a UGF, or the intake tube on a HOB filter?

If you mean HOB, then just get an airline reducer to make smaller bubbles, and yeah, plumb it into the intake tube.

If you have a UGF...I'm sorry, but that's not a good planted tank filter, and it'll also outgas much of your CO2.
