Test kits

I'm getting ready to order some new test kits (phosphate nitrate ammonia nitrite ph) I was wondering what you guys recommend. I've used API and I find them pretty easy to read, but was wondering if there is somthen better out there.

I've also used seachem phosphate/nitrate/iron. I find them a little harder to read then the API. Also could never get a reading on the iron. Don't know if I had a faulty kit or if I just couldn't understand the instructions.

I have 1 Freshwater Master test kit (pretty good) and 1 KH/GH kit. I think that's practically all you need to keep shrimp/fish.

API is a common, go-to brand.

There are more expensive/better test kits, such as LaMotte. They come with reference vials so that you can avoid the comparing to colour cards business.

I might just stick with API then I'm not looking to break the bank on test kits just yet :P
