need help with Plantex csm +b plus extra iron

I am trying to figure out if I can dose this dry and if so how much for a 125 gallon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it is ~1/16t per 20g's. so you could get away with a tad less than 1/2t per dosing.

sorry, forgot to add that part!

that is per dosing. you should dose 3x per week at that amount.

correct. and again, a tad more never hurts. 25% more max. dosing dry is so much easier though. i am switching after my current solution is used up.

the only thing with dry is I find the fish chase it like it is food, I have not seen any eat it and I do not know if it would harm them if they did.

Mix that amount in a cup of water then dose the tank, then you dont have to worry about it.

You can always mix it with alittle bit of water before you introduce it into the tank. That might help alittle with your fish problem.

I have been but I notice that it does not all dissolve, I just mixed up a solution to use this week, my thought was it will give it more time to dissolve this way.

use warmer water maybe? since I havent tried dosing dry yet with CSM, I haven't noticed how hard it is to dissolve it.

maybe dose 1/2 into a cup of water, dissolve it, toss in the tank, and then repeat with the 2nd 1/2.

Just to clarify, is that 1/16 of a TEAspoon mentioned above?

yes, TEAspoon.

for future reference, assuming the poster knows this... a lower case "t" means teaspoon, and an upper case "T" means Tablespoon.
