Will I need Ferts to achieve balance?

Currently my tank is in the DSM. I plan on injecting co2 at a bubble a second or a bubble every two seconds. My lighting is a single bulb 30 inch Catalina t5ho 21 inches above the substrate. Hoppy claims this to be medium light. I've got another one of the same Catalina fixture that I'll add for the DSM only. I'll gradually reduce the photoperiod of the second light right before I fill the tank. Btw substrate is mgocpm. With this much light and co2 will I need to dose Ferts to prevent unbalance and algae. What Ferts if so?

You probably will need to add some ferts, but maybe not much.
I can see several ways to do this:
1) EI, then test and adjust the dosing.
2) Start with no ferts, test and add a little, changing the dosing as you go.
3) Put some slow release tablets under the substrate and watch the plants.
