PLANT 1 on a driftwood:
PLANT 2 (Parvula):
PLANT 4 (Hairgrass):
TANK (Glosso on the foreground)
Ammonia: 2ppm (1 day after startup, it was 8ppm)
Lights: 4x24w for 9hrs daily
Subtrate: ADA Amazonia New
Hi Guys, i need some help. The 30g tank was started on 3rd October 2012 and is currently undergoing cycling. I managed to reduce the initial ammonia load from 8ppm to about 2ppm today with a 40% wc. I've dosed anti-chlorine, as well as ferts like Seachem's Excel, Comprehensive, Trace, Iron. My questions are:
1) Plant 1 and 2 seems to have black spotted algae which i read is due to lack of Co2. I've since increased the Co2 bps and dose excel. Did i do right?
2) Plant 2,3,4 seems to be withering slightly and plant 5 is kinda losing its red colour. On the contrary, plant 6 is looking better than before, and the glosso seems fine. Why are the plants dying while others are blooming? Is it cos of the cycling process?
3) Anybody experienced the CO2 bubble counter changing, ie you turn up to 4bps, and the next thing you know after a few hours, its like only 1 bps. What is the reason for the lack of accuracy?
Appreciate if i could get some advice. Cheers
