When I mix these into a bottle to make a wet fertilizer I use 2 parts CSM+B: 1 part chelated iron. I think this is a common ratio, though I have also seen 1:1 ratios used.

How lacking in iron are your plants? CSM+B has some iron, so 2:1 might be just enough extra iron for an average set up, a substrate without iron added.

they aren't particularly lacking iron. that i can tell

i have aquasoil substrate and i dose EI. plus i dose a 5ml capful of flourish iron
but the flourish is running out and i have iron chelate as its far cheaper and i wanna roll it up in a nice easy to dose dry package
my plants uptake everything i dose as of right now. nitrates stay around 10 ppm during the week phosphates around 2

I dose a CSM+B plus Fe solution.
500ml bottle (I double everything but the Glut for the 1000ml bottles)
14.4g CSM+B
35g GLA Fe 11% DPTA
30ml Excel (actually 1.5% Glut)
Mixing a new bottle of soup it takes about two days for everything to stay in solution.
I shake the bottle a couple of times a day and turn it upside down to see if anything settles.
Currently doing about 5ml/20g per day.

does it help? IDK, but it doesn't hurt
