Buying Dry Iron Fertilizers

Any benefits of Iron Chelate 13% (EDTA) versus Ferrous gluconate. I've never used a standalone iron fertilizer before.

They are similarly priced per half pound.

Since we manipulate pH with cO2, KH is a better relative measure.

Yes, CMS+B = plantex etc, it uses ETDA, which is suited for very soft water along with Fe Gluc.

Easier to use by plants, but doesn't last as long, so the dose is less.
The higher KH chelators are a little stronger, but last in the water, so the dose is relatively similar if not more.

Using a mix of all of them hedges your bets and provides the most Fe over time.
