well water to city water

hey folks. just bought a house and were goin from well water to city water . now i know i can get some prime (or other brand ) to get rid of the chlorine. but i was considering storing water in water barrles and pumping them to the tanks. i hear storing for 24 hours rids of chlorine? what do you all do?

75g - Ebo Jager 200w - Rena xp3 - Aquaclear 500 - 130w light (8hrs) 260w light (4 hrs) - 2 discus - 4 cory cats - 2 pleco - 2 rams - 1 clown loach - easy grow,low light plants

Hi, Prime is good for both chlorine and chloramine. It is best to ask your city
water dept if they use chloramine in the water. If they do, make sure whatever you use takes care of both.

Many cities have switched to chloramines because they don't easily out gas like chlorine. You could put chloramine treated water in a bucket and run an air pump on it for a week with hardly any effect on the chloramine.

so prime is really my only choice
