Phosphate questions

So I finally got a Phosphate test. These are my results and dosing since Saturday

9/21 - Dosed 1 cap, Seachem Phosporus
9/22 - Dosed 1 cap Phosporus, .5mg/l Phosphate
9/23 - Dosed 2 caps Phosporus, .5mg/l Phosphate
9/26 - .15mg/l Phosphate

Looks like my tank sucks the Phosphate pretty fast. So I have a few questions:

Is it safe to keep exceeding the dose marked on the bottle?
What's the recommended level of Phosphate for a densely planted tank?

It does no harm to dose phosphate at a level of at least 3 ppm, much higher than you seem to be dosing. The Seachem recommended dosages appear to be for low light tanks. They would be much too low for a high light tank.

Thanks Hoppy, I was alarmed when the Seachem dosing calculator told me to use 7 caps. I'll gradually get to that level over the next few days.

Yup, I have been. I'll test my tap tonight. I got that low reading two days after a 20% WC. Thanks for the heads up
