EI dry dosing and fishless cycle

When doing a fishless cycle and EI dosing when it came to the first week off dosing do I do a 50% water change or just continue because of the fishless cycle?

It can depend. What are your ammonia levels? If you do not have any ammonia in there for the bacteria to feed on, then you must do something to put ammonia into the tank. If you don't then you will never get it cycled. Also if your ph is below 7,say 6.5 then your ammonia becomes ammonium. Then your bacteria has nothing to feed on. So test your ammonia and ph, then go from there. There are ways to add ammonia and I will tell you if you need it. Otherwise it can cause a tragedy in your tank.

Go ahead with the 50% water change, then re-dose the ammonia to 3 ppm.
