Have been only using flourish comprehensive

Hey I was reading the flourish comprehensive and realized its only micro nutrients. I'm wondering what I should get other then this or to replace this. I would like to use whatever I get in all my tanks but one has shrimp so no copper. I have looked at dry frets but I really have no understanding of where and what I should get.

Take a look here at PPS-Pro
https://sites.google.com/site/aquati...r/home/pps-pro

Really easy to use. If you don't want as much copper in your tank you can use Plantex CSM+B. It has copper but far far ar from enough to be harmful to your shrimp.

It's pretty easy to use and one of the benefits is that if you use it correctly you don't need water changes.

For basic dry ferts, go with KNO3 and KH2PO4, as well as either Miller Microplex or Plantex CSM+B for micros.

They can be bought at aquariumfertilizer.com:
http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/in...ditU=1&Regit=2

Or GLA:
http://greenleafaquariums.com/aquarium-fertilizer.html

As well as a couple other online sites, in addition to a couple members here selling them, including nilocg.

KNO3 will be dosed at 4x the rate of both KH2PO4 and CSM+B, so keep that in mind when you purchase. Off the top of my head, for EI dosing (which includes a half-tank water change weekly), the 20g-40g dose is 1/4 tsp KNO3 and 1/16 tsp of the other two, 3x per week. There are some other ferts you can get into later on, but those three should cover all the basics.

is K3SO4 (potassium sulfate) not a critical macro for dosing too or is it available in other ways?
