So my GLA Ferts package came today. The Macro & Micro mix from GLA. (NPK + CSM+B) so I want to run my projected routine with all of you and get some feedback. Here are my specs:
-Odyssea two 18w T5HO 6500K about 13 inches above substrate (more than 80 micromols of par according to the chart in the lighting thread), 8 hour photoperiod.
-Paintball pressurized CO2 at 3ish bps turns on 30 min before lights
-Eco Complete Substrate
-Aqueon 10 HOB filter with pre-sponge(Looking into other methods of filtration)
My pH is freaking 8! My filtered water tap is 8. This will be a problem won't it?
Water Wisteria, Narrow Leaf Microsword(not pictured), Xmas Moss wall, Hornwort, Rotala Singapore, Rotala Rotundifolia, Anubias Barteri, Dwarf Sag, Crypt Wendtii 'Tropica', Amazon Sword, Blyxa Japonica. All of the plants look hungry.
I'm actually moving my aquarium to school in a little over a week. My 3 goldfish will not be coming with me. I'll be restocking with non-goldfish once I get a hang of the plants. I'll also add the microsword once I move because I'm dry-starting it somewhere else.
So my projected EI dosing schedule goes as:
Sunday: 50%H2o change, 1/4 tsp-KNO3, 1/16 KH2PO4, 1/8tsp KSO4,
Monday: 1/16 Tsp Trace
Tuesday: (same as Sun.)
Wednesday: (same as Mon.)
Saturday: (Prune &/or enjoy)
Still unsure what to do about Iron... I want to feature the rotalas. Thanks for reading I'd love to hear some input. Here's a pic:
