CO2 and Sponge filter

Does having a sponge filter effect diy co2? would there be less co2 in the water because the water is oxygenated?

If you are running an air pump line into it, then yes.

Never show anyone your true potential. If you do, they will always expect it.

Aeration will dissapate dissolved gasses back to atmospheric levels.

Edit: gas levels are independant of each other. Cooler water holds gasses better.
