seachem excel

I'm planning on using excel soon. I have shrimp in my planted tank. Does excel have copper in it?

No, it does not. You can use Excel with your shrimp. I've even overdosed it for algae treatment in my RCS tank.

Are you going to be dosing anything else? Excel is a chemical known as Glutaraldehyde. It has the ability to supply plants with a useable form of Carbon and is also an algaecide. It doesn't have any copper in it.

The only thing dosed I know of that might have some Copper is Micros like Plantex CSM and Millers microplex. BUT its not enough to do any harm at all. I use these products in my shrimp tanks no issues.
