Mixing PPS Pro Solution

Hey All,

I've mixed up some 1L bottles of trace and macros for PPS. My trace has some clumps in the bottom (im using millers microplex) and the macro bottle doesnt have the K2SO4 fully disolved. I keep it in the fridge, maybe an issue? My tap water is 5 dGH and 7.5PH

I saw on The Aquatic Plant Enthusiast forum an article by Ukamikazu. I followed his advice, he seems like a real sharp fellow. He boils his water first before adding ingredients. So far everything is fine and I don't need to refrigerate according to him. Email Orlando at Greenleaf Aquariums and he will answer any questions about ferts. He's my go to guy! Jimbo.

Just shake it well and it'll dissolve in a few days. You can boil your water but theres still a good chance of contamination down the road. Put some Excel in it and refrigerate.

Are you trying to make the solution too strong? Only a certain amount of everything will dissolve in the water.

You might have to use more water, make a weaker solution, then dose more to get the same amount of active ingredient.

I'm using the exact grams per ingredient that the PPS Pro spreadsheet calculates.
