impatient to dissolve my CaCO3

I would love to get this into solution faster. I use dolomitic powder from Greg Watson.

How much mileage could I get from regular bottled charged water (just CO2)? Does this make sense?

If it's worth it - how long till "dosable" equillibrium for beefering up my soft NYC water?

It takes time. If you want to raise the gH then use calcium chloride and Epsom salts. They both dissolve almost instantly. If you want to raise the kH use baking soda.

It's expensive... but cool if you like equipment.

Set temp to 130C, set stirrer to about 8. Leave for 12-24 hours.
