Messed up my water!!

My pH was 7.0 and kH 5.0 in my 90 gal planted tank using DIY CO2. Dosing tank with Flourish Excel, Potassium, Nitrogen, Iron, and Phosphorus. I wanted to up my kH and added baking soda. Now my kH is 8.0 and pH is 7.6!! How do I correct this? Should I let everything be to even itself out ..or up my CO2? Thanks for any input.

Send a message via AIM to Jason Baliban
If you have RO/DI water you can do a water change and replace with straight RO/DI water. This is the one way to bring down your KH.

Just did a 40% water change yesterday! Will it be too soon to do another water change?

Nothing to worry about. Just do your normal water changes.

I just wanted to make sure you understand that raising Kh will in fact raise you pH. The two are inter-related.
