It has been done, I can't remember where I saw this. However, keep in mind that when you do this, it shortens the life of your membrane.

For 11 games, ps3, 3 controllers, I wouldn't mind giving up my Ehiem, in-line hydor heater, and r/o system.

Oh yeah, and why would you do that, water is cheaper than the membranes and replace cartridges

use the waste water to water your plants and yard.

You can feed the waste from the first membrane into a second membrane. My system is setup that way. Works great, in order for it to work well though you need a booster pump but it will drastically improve the RO water to waste water ratio.
