dolomite lime ?

i was just wondering if i wanted to raise my GH if dolomite lime will do it ? or what is the best way and what to use or should i use calcium chhlorde and epson salt???

That would do it! Dolomite (lime) or calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is difficult to dissolve in water, but with enough shaking in a jar, it can be done. Calcium chloride is much easier to dissolve, but calcium test kits (if you have one) test for either CaCO3 or just Ca.

Calcium carbonate will also raise your KH.

Dolomite takes forever and longer to dissolve into the water. I use a mixture of MgSO4 (Magnesium Sulphate or Epsom Salts) and CaCl2. Both dissolve easily and these ingredients only raise your GH.

cool thanks then thats what i will go with Epsom Salts) and CaCl2
