I'm low on nitrates, I know. I can't find any flourish nitrogen locally so what should I do? Should I cut my light 50% and lower CO2 to prevent algae.

Thanks.

Order Potassium Nitrate from Gregwatson.com, It is really cheap and a pound lasts a long long time. I think Hydroponic stores sell it also.

heh... its never too late to order nitrates. I have never , ever, ever seen a plant die from a lack of nitrates in even a month... they just get real, real ugly.
Im not sure what answer you want but GET some NO3 or buy plastic...

When/if you order KN03, be sure to go ahead and get some KH2P04 and K2S04, do you have Trace? CSM+B is good stuff too!!

If you really feel you have to get some in a hurry, try a local hydroponics store.

If yuo've been dosing NO3 for a while, you can afford to miss a dose or two or three...Plants don't use all the nitrate we give them but do store some of it for lean times, your plants should fare well during this "lean" event. GW order received on Monday, got my pkg. on Wedensday...Great service!

You can get the Magnesium sulfate at any drug store. They call it Epsom Salts.

Thanks for the reply Craig,

I ordered all 6 items sinced the shipping cost for ordering the other two items is almost 9 dollars. So I figure it's there when I need it, if not, it's still there .

I'm getting some otos tomorrow so they can chow down on my current algae. Looking forward to start dosing and get this algae out of the way.

Thanks again,
Khoi
