emersed fert levels

For the past several months my LFS has had a BBA covered little a. nana with a 4" rhizome sitting forlornly in the back of a tank, ugly as hell. I've been eyeing it for an experiment in emersed growth. Today was the day. Oh, happy day. I will have anubias galore for my goldfish downstairs!

I am used to dosing fishful tanks. I assume emersed nutrient levels can be pushed higher, yes? Is there consensus on how far is reasonable?
