KH 3.5 GH11 is this normal ratios?

Hi guys in the past I knew I had very hard water so when I decided I wanted discus I bought an RO and KH test kit and worked to find a ratio of tap to ro to get a kh of about 3 knowing I wanted to go with co2 I knew KH3 was about as low as I could go. Anyway I finally tested my gh, a couple years later and to my surprise its 11 what do you all think? Good, bad, OK?
Thanks

sounds good to me. KH3.5 enables you to use CO2. High GH actually helps vast majority of plants. Discus don't mind hard water unless you want to breed them, then you need softwater to hatch the eggs.

40w T6 ODNO4x, no CO2. Discus grow out.

I will do aquascapes after I collect all the plant species and grow them to perfection.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just thought it was kinda high considering I dilute it using 35 gallons ro to 10 tap. I suppose I should try to find out the Mag to Cal ratio to see if they are both there.

Thats probably a very good idea. I got caught with not enough Mg even though my GH was 10. Heres a good read on Ca/Mg relationship.

Yeah. I had kind of opposite problem. My GH=8 and I suspect my Mg is too high causing Ca uptake problem. I had to add Ca.
