Question kh test kit

i would like to know the kh test kit out there that is most trusted. been useing ap and i don't think i'm getting the correct reading. i have digital ph meter and i know it works right. if i go by ap test and follow co2 chart my fish would be expiring; reads way to high. please advise! regards, cornhusker

In my experience KH tests are fairly stout. To increase the sensitivity try double the volume of water and results/2. So 7 drops in 10 mL would be 3.5 drops in 5 mL... The charts are based on the maximum dissolved CO2 if you are injecting so please post details on equipment, KH, pH, GH if you be so kind.

Smile kh test kits

blue ram, ph is 6.7, kh 10 drops . have no gh kit right now , expired. but last time i tested i think about 15 gh, i am now useing straight tap water. sent to lab , they said very hard, thats why i mixed ro water 50% . i decided to go straight tap water and every thing is just fine. i just recevied co2 test kit from lamotte and it seems to be very touchy. don't know if i should believe the test. still like chart testing. 75 gal ,220 watts ah supply, eheim reg. ,modified reactor 200 ,(florida driftwood) , 100% flourite, and rena xp3. thank you
