API Tabs vs. Flourish Tabs?

Because I have no idea. And because all that is sold near me is API. Which would you go with? Your answer determines whether or not I order online? Also whats the shelf life of these things? Cause my tank only requires 6 tabs total. And I would rather order a large bunch of them.

Just another idea, have a look at osmocote+, some users havereported good results while using it. Then again, there are warnings/side-effects to it. Click on the links for more info.

Jobe's Spikes for Ferns and Palms are great too. 16-2-6
A pack of 30 runs me $2.39 at the hardware store. They ordered them for me.
Each spike gets broken into three root tabs.

Check out Root Medic.

http://rootmedic.net/

He's a member of these boards and several people swear by his root tabs.
