What to do with vacation and dosing

So I have a 75 gal injected tank with EI dosing regiment. I will be leaving on vacation for 8 days (can do stuff on the day I leave and return so really 6) and am curious as to how I should leave the tank. Is there a benefit in reducing the photo period, CO2 concentration, etc.? Should I dose extra and let it ride? Any insight on this would be appreciated, thanks!

How about dose the daily ei amounts into small dixie cups, then mark on them Sat sun mon etc and have a trusted friend or family member come over daily to check the place out and dose the ei!

Or you might be able to put the dry fert doses into dissolvable capsules and load them into an automatic fish feeder that dispenses once a day for 6 days or more.

Cut your lighting intensity by half if you can then on the day you leave dose the entire amount of ferts for that week and you'll be fine.

That's pretty ingenious only the feeder I have just rotates and dispenses a roughly predicted amount. Your idea seems very legit tho.

Dose a week's worth in one shot after a water change. It'll be fine.

If you want to automate dosing, peristaltic pumps are the way to fly.

I just bought a fairly cheap 3 pump peristaltic pump from marine magic and it is great I dose macros, micros and excel with it I travel every week so I had to find a way to dose on a regular basis and this was it.
