CO2 & PH relationship

Hi everyone,

What does a change in PH say about CO2 levels?

My tank PH is approximately 7.6-7.7 prior to my CO2 going on. With in a couple of hours after CO2 starts up PH readings are 6.6-6.8 give or take. Is there some way to calculate CO2 levels (even approximate values) using these values? I do not have a drop checker only a Milwaukee PH meter and would like to now the best way to use it in conjuction with my CO2 system.

Can any one help?

There is a way to do this...but it isnt very accurate. Your best bet would be a drop checker if you wanted to do something along these lines.

Google this and you will find the answer though.
