Trace Elements

As you can see some of the listed products don't have the same compliment of trace elements nor even the same level of concentration among the various brands. Why not? Of all the trace elements listed which ones are necessary ? http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/traces.htm

All are necessary. Different plants in differing situations probably need differing amounts. Choose one, see how you like it. Next time try a different solution.

The aquarium isn't just getting micros from the solution you choose to put into the tank. The water source and the substrate and probably decomposing waste and plants provide some as well. Check the water report for your tap water, see if you can find an analysis of the substrate you use as well. I know my tap water has calcium, sulfur, boron, vanadium, potassium and magnesium in it.

If all are needed why don't the listed products contain them all ?
