Shopping List

What benevolent user would save the pain of rummaging through posts?

I'm almost out of a 3 year old leftover batch of PMDD, and think it's high time I buy a little cache of all the 'usual' dry ferts to start mixing my own crap..

however, I'm remiss to find a concatenated listing of what i need to buy.

I know Grant's Stump remover is .. for something,
and Generic Fleet Enema is another, although I'm confused as to what one means by 'generic'.

Has any got a shopping list I could borrow?

Stump remover is or contains KNO3. Be careful though... it might also contain things that will kill every living organism in your tank. Some brands are supposed to be safe, but there is no 100% guarantee since it isn't made to be added to aquariums.

Fleet Enema contains KH2PO4 and can be used to add phosphates.

No-Salt is KCl and can be used for potassium. There are also water softener pellets made from KCl which can be broken up to dust and used like that.

Better solution is to buy a few pounds of the macros, maybe 4lb KNO3, 2lb K2SO4, and .5lb KH2PO4, depending on your tank size and tech level that will last a long time, will cost roughly the same, and you can be fairly sure you get the right stuff without the risk of contaminants.
