Emersing Anubias - an easy way?

I'm new to raising plants, and am wondering the bare minimum I need
to do this with success:

I have a 5gal tank in a windowsill with 2" of fishtank water (unfertilized) with about 5 anubias plants sitting in it with leaves above water. The lid is saran wrapped and moisture has collected on the glass. Should I add some basic fish like white clouds to provide "fertilizer"? This is in a window at work so I cant be messing with it much, or adding CO2.

Whats my maintenance on this?
and someone told me to exhale into the tank and seal it back up a couple times a week. (are they just messing with me??!!)

I read somewhere that emersed anubias
will grow a new leaf per day.

You don't even need that much. Little moisture in a covered tray and a light is all your really need.

maintenance, open up and mist every week or so. Keeping them from drying out is really the key.

You don't need fish, you don't even need fertilization other than some basic plant food. (you could use a soil substrate too like top soil or potting soil and just lay the anubias on top, they will root themselves in).

Leaf per day? No. Maybe in some situations, but don't expect explosive growth under these conditions, however, growth will go up once the plant roots itself (typically).

Exhale in the tank all you want. Doesn't do anything but may you look silly. LOL!
