where to buy ACCURATE KH test kit?

I need an accurate KH test kit I can use to test the 4dKH water I make. It needs to be accurate enough to measure 4 dkh within .25 The only kit I found in a store can only measure 1, 4, or 12 dkh. What a joke!

I don't think you will find an economical home KH test that measures to .25 degrees..... with real reliability.

Salifert is accurate to .1 meq/l, which is about .28... however I don't think these types of kit are actually that accurate based on user error.

if you are looking to sell it, make a very large batch and take it to a ag extension office for testing. 15 bucks for a batch.

Use a nice scale to make it, from the start and there shouldn't ever been any difficulty.

It needs to be liquid test kit, for home use. I assume the test you describe is strips?

Using a liquid test kit, like the API kit, you can improve the "accuracy" by testing 20 ml of water, so each drop of reagent represents .25 dKH. But, without calibrating the test kit, which is difficult, because you need known KH samples to test, the accuracy will always be questionable. Using a test kit that was manufactured less than 6 months ago helps.

API liquid test? how much and where do I buy? I might just end up using a scale, being very careful, and not using a test. I am very confident that i make it extremely accurate. I will be selling it with my drop checkers I sell.
