Question Plantex CSM+B

I premix my ferts and keep the Plantex CSM+B in the fridge because it was getting mold even in the dark, I noticed today that some of the Plantex has re-crystalized out of solution. I guess this would either have to be set out in advance to warm up and disolve or I could use a fugicide, what do you use to keep the mold out.

I did a search and came up with these products, Metricide 10ml per 500ml, HCL (not going to use), Glut (?), Cidex (?), Excel 20ml per 500ml. I know where to get HCL and Excel but I have no idea where to get the other 3 nor how much to add or any idea what type of products they are but a few were leaning toward Glut as it was cheaper, Help.

I think thing like this should be added into the "Sticky" on dosing, so all of the info is available in one place. I would still like to hear about the other three, I guess for now Excel would be the easy and least dangerous choice, but why the heck does it work.

Hi 150EH,

I use Glut (Excel's active ingredient) but Excel will do the job. I add about 20 ml of Excel strength Glut to my mix and store at room temperature in an old Seachem fert bottle. No fungus any more.
