Is CO2 w/ low lights helpful?

My 29G is low light at the moment. My plants look awful. Is CO2 helpful in all light levels or only high light? Thanks.

as far as i understand, yes, it is helpful in whatever lighting conditions. i've been told that you can grow basically anything with a good level of co2 and a medium light.

maybe try diy co2?

With very low light, DIY CO2 is all you'll need.

I have a small gaterade bottle w/ 2 lines, one in, one out between the soda bottle and tank. I will then use an air stone to let the solution into tank.

if you have a HOB filter you can diffuse through that instead of through an airstone. it will be much more efficient
