Please recommend a fertilizing method for my tank [PICS]

Hi everyone,

My tank is about 3 months old and I've been running the dosing schedule recommended by seachem using the flourish line. While I've seen growth, I've also seen a lot of algae and want to switch things up to something more technical and more controllable to get healthier growth that isn't hindered by algae. I've been thinking of starting to run the EI fertilizing method but am worried I don't have enough plant mass to do so successfully. What fertilizing method would you guys recommend for my tank?

Additionally info:
-I am running pressurized CO2
-According to rotalabutterfly.com, I have 34 par of light at depth

Any water parameters would be helpful; KH, GH, pH in particular -any nitrate or phosphate showing up on a test kit? Just from the photos it would make sense you experienced some algae issues - not much plant matter to need too many nutrients just yet. You are fertilizing the uptake of the plant mass more than the water column.

Nothing good happens fast in an ecosystem.

Additional info (tank is 55g):

Light: I have a Fluval Planted 3.0 46W, 3300 Lumen, 6500K. Runs 6 hours per day with the CO2 which is at 2-3 bubbles per second

Water Changes: I use reminieralized RO/DI water. I have been doing 30 gallon water changes every 10 days. Id like to change this to every two weeks if possible but can also maintain smaller water changes once a week. Water change schedule is flexible

Water Parameters:
KH: Honestly don't know as I don't have anymore alkalinity tests. I use 3 grams of baking soda for a 25 gallon water change though.
GH: 5 DH
p.H: 7.2-7.6
ammonia / nitrite: 0
nitrate: 5ppm
phosphate: have never tested. recommended tests?

ALSO if interested here is my entire dosing schedule:
Day 1:
Flourish - 3.4 mL
Phosphorous - 5.1 mL
Nitrogen (to 5-10 ppm nitrate) - 2.3mL

Day 2:
Trace - 10.6mL
Iron - 4.3 mL

Day 3:
Potassium - 4.3 mL
Iron - 4.3 mL

Day 4:
Trace - 10.6mL
Phosphorous - 5.1 mL
Nitrogen 2.3 mL

Day 5:
Flourish - 3.4mL
Potassium - 4.3 mL
Iron - 4.3 mL

Day 6:
Iron - 4.3 mL

Day 7:
No dosing, do 50% water change

The main algae I have struggled with is BBA. I stabilized the issue a while back but the BBA came back without any changes to my maintenance regiment. I also have regular green algae

Try breaking up your lighting schedule. I do two siestas to reset natural CO2, and extend my human viewing time. I get to wake up with my tank, and go to sleep with my tank, and not let algae win.

Two siesta lighting schedule

Style: Organic soil, sand, gravel, plants, moss, algae, snails, shrimp, small fish
Tech: Fluval Plant Nano, Top Fin MF10, Tunze 3161, Apex EL

100%. Tank is 21" tall with 3" of substrate. Light sits 2" above water

Just my two cents. I get the algae thing. Had my share of battles. But the thing that sticks out immediately to me is the lack of plant mass. My tank turned a corner when I did two things. One went a whole month without changing the routine. And two bumped plants to over 60%. A good place to check out is advancedplantedtank.com. There are a lot of easy to understand how tos there.
